The Safety Training Manager:
- Position Summary:
Responsible for supporting and promoting division-wide safety operations, including loss prevention, on-the-job injury management, and accident investigations. Ensures services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed accident and incident records to support investigations and reporting.
- Conduct accident and incident investigations and assist with corrective action implementation.
- Analyze operational situations that may impact service and recommend detours or safety measures during service disruptions.
- Support safe and reliable service delivery.
- Prepare reports for management regarding driver safety performance, knowledge, and skills.
- Investigate and assist in resolving customer complaints while ensuring operating policies are followed.
Education, Experience & Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years of safety management experience and/or a law enforcement background required.
- Must have a valid California driver's license.
- Must have a valid commercial driver's license.
